Digital is hiring a remote Business Development Manager to drive new business growth in global banking and fintech markets. Full-time role with competitive OTE.
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager with strong experience in banking, fintech, enterprise technology, financial media, or B2B commercial sales. This role will focus on driving new business growth across global banking and financial services markets by identifying, engaging, and closing strategic commercial opportunities with banks, fintech companies, and technology vendors.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving new business acquisition across banking and fintech markets globally.
- Building and managing a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry engagement.
- Selling sponsorships, subscriptions, awards programs, research products, and strategic partnerships.
- Engaging senior banking stakeholders, including digital banking leaders, innovation teams, and procurement decision-makers.
- Leading proposal development, pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing client accounts.
Backgrounds such as banking, fintech, financial media, SaaS or platform sales, enterprise technology, data or intelligence platforms, or conference and events sales are preferred. Strong exposure to B2B commercial environments and enterprise client engagement is essential. A strong track record of exceeding commercial targets and closing enterprise deals is required. Experience engaging senior banking stakeholders and enterprise procurement teams is also necessary. Strong consultative sales and relationship management capability is a must. An existing financial services network is highly advantageous. Comfortable operating across international markets and time zones.
