Sobi is hiring a remote Director, Business Development & Alliance Management. This full-time role involves evaluating and implementing business development transactions.

Sobi is seeking a Director, Business Development & Alliance Management to play a key role in evaluating, prioritizing, and implementing business development transactions globally and regionally. This role will involve due diligence, alliance management, and project management support.

  • Evaluate, prioritize, and implement business development transactions.
  • Support cross-functional projects and transactions.
  • Lead regional level business development transactions as needed.
  • Manage due diligence processes for in-licensing, out-licensing, distribution, and M&A opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for due diligence activities.
  • Establish key value-drivers for business case and contracting efforts.
  • Manage daily dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain internal and external due diligence database activities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (MBA or related advanced degree preferred) with 5-7 years of pharmaceutical/medical industry experience, or related experience in consulting, investment banking, or private equity investing. Strong due diligence, negotiation, and project management skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools is required.
