DEWALT is seeking a remote Field Engineering Business Development Manager to drive new business and product growth. Requires 7+ years of technical sales experience.
About the Role
DEWALT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Engineering Business Development Manager to drive new business and ensure the future growth of specified SBD product lines and complementary tools and accessories. This role involves identifying and working with National owners in the US to specify DEWALT anchors and fastening products in their companywide construction standards, managing the entire “Spec to Sale” process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a strong technical understanding of specified products and their applications in construction.
- Establishing relationships with key Owners/design teams within focus verticals in the US.
- Influencing designers, architects, and engineers to specify DEWALT products through regular communication and technical presentations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, product, engineering, marketing) to deliver customized solutions.
- Holding regular technical presentations and training seminars.
The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license (preferred) or EIT, a minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical sales role, impeccable communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with construction jobsite applications and computer applications like Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Office Suite is essential. Salesforce experience is a plus.
