Confidential is seeking a Remote Accounting Director to manage client finance functions and lead an accounting team. This full-time role offers a salary of $105,000-$115,000.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Accounting Director to join our virtual, fractional accounting and finance firm. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage the entire finance function for our clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, controller, and CFO services. You will play a key role in process documentation, establishing workpaper standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Full ownership of the monthly close cycle across all client engagements.
• Lead, delegate to, and develop an accounting team.
• Own and enforce the quality system, including SOPs, workpaper standards, and review procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement through process automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Serve as the firm’s authority on complex GAAP questions and technical accounting judgment.
