About the Role

Vercel is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across international entities. You will be a key contributor to Vercel’s Finance Center of Excellence in India, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
