Senior Backend Engineer – India (Remote) (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend services that power our core products. You will work on high-traffic, distributed systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

• Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and reliable backend services using technologies like Java, Go, or Python.
• Lead technical discussions, architectural decisions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Java, Go, Python).
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
