About the Role

Atlassian is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their R&D finance team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making for Atlassian’s Research and Development initiatives. You will partner closely with R&D leadership to drive financial discipline, optimize resource allocation, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing the annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts for R&D.
• Performing variance analysis and providing insights into financial performance.
• Supporting strategic projects and investments within the R&D organization.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Accounting.
• Enhancing financial models and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
