Job Description

The Accounts Payable Officer ensures accurate reporting of supplier and subcontractor invoices by timely posting of invoices and monitoring of outstanding payments. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Post supplier and subcontractor invoices accurately and timely.
• Monitor outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
