About the Role

Amgen is seeking a Director, Global Value & Access Business Development to join their team. This role is critical in evaluating business development opportunities by providing input on pricing, access, and coverage assumptions. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including Commercial BD, Global Access Strategy, and Global Marketing, to drive strategic insights and support Amgen’s mission to serve patients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving as the Global Value & Access (GV&A) point of contact for business development (BD) commercial assessments.
• Coordinating with regional and country V&A teams and cross-functional partners to align on GV&A assumptions.
• Driving fit-for-purpose research on BD targets using key databases and diligence materials.
• Providing price and access assumptions for BD revenue forecasts, considering target product profiles and scenario sensitivities.
• Leading cross-functional teams on key drivers of pricing/access risks and opportunities.
• Participating in deal governance and project meetings to ensure GV&A inputs align with team assessments and timelines.

The ideal candidate will have excellent pricing and access technical skills, fluency with data analysis and market research, and strong strategic thinking capabilities. You should be able to translate complex situation analyses into relevant analytic questions and drive business insights.
