Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging mission-critical software source code using modern languages and tools like Java.
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle within broadly defined parameters.
• Utilizing Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git for work management and team collaboration.
• Supporting the creation and updating of all relevant documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing.
• Identifying potential roadblocks and developing solutions.
• Planning and estimating development tasks, and working to improve performance metrics.
• Developing maintainable code that matches specifications and creating automated tests leveraging a continuous integration process.
• Owning the delivery of small parts of a system or application.
• Collaborating closely with other engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
• Building software solutions where the solution is not always well-defined but always considers the customer first.
