Crinetics Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their remote team. This role will be instrumental in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls are effective.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Liaise with external auditors during financial statement audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
