Full Job Overview

The Senior Accountant Benelux and Nordics will play a key role in strengthening and professionalizing the finance function of a growing international group.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations for the Benelux and Nordics regions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
• Manage general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
• Provide financial support and insights to regional management.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
