Circle is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for their Frontend Platform team. This is a fully remote, full-time position.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Frontend Platform team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our user-facing applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of our frontend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient frontend architecture.
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components and libraries.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and related ecosystem.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
