Job Overview

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist to join their team in Bangalore, India. This role involves designing and building production-grade APIs, services, and integrations on modern .NET, focusing on reliability, performance, and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade APIs, services, and integrations on modern .NET.
• Improve reliability, performance, and developer experience.
• Develop services with .NET 8/7, ASP.NET Core Web API, and EF Core/Dapper.
• Write clean, testable code using SOLID and async/await patterns.
• Implement messaging/integration (REST/GraphQL, Kafka/Service Bus, webhooks) and background processing (Queues/Workers).
• Containerize with Docker; author Helm/Kustomize or Bicep/Terraform modules with platform support.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, add automated tests (xUnit/NUnit, integration, contract tests), static analysis (Sonar), and security scans.
• Add observability (Serilog, OpenTelemetry), performance monitoring, and error budgets/SLOs with SRE/Platform.
• Participate in design reviews, estimate work, de-risk dependencies, and mentor mid/junior developers.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

• 5–10 years of experience building server-side applications on .NET.
• Recent .NET Core/.NET 6+ experience.
• Strong C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, SQL optimization, and REST API design skills.
• Familiarity with gRPC/SignalR is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, basic Kubernetes concepts, and at least one cloud platform.
• Comfortable with CI/CD, testing pyramids, and secure coding (OAuth2/OIDC, OWASP).

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience).
