Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Specialist II, Project Design to join their global team. This fully remote role is crucial for advancing CRS’s project design expertise and resource mobilization strategies.

The ideal candidate will work within the Institutional Funding Department, providing guidance on project design and promoting best practices across the agency. Responsibilities include developing key design resources, strengthening design capabilities, and supporting evidence-informed project design. This role involves serving as a Design Lead for strategic opportunities, which includes leading capture activities, forming strategic partnerships, conducting literature reviews and needs assessments, facilitating strategy selection, and contributing to proposal writing and budgeting.

• Develop and implement Resource Mobilization strategies aligned with agency goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal global stakeholders and regional teams.
• Lead capture activities for strategic opportunities, including partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
• Conduct literature reviews, needs assessments, and technical analysis.
• Contribute to proposal writing, MEAL design, and budgeting to ensure competitive proposals.
• Advise and support teams in developing proposal development plans.
• Plan and facilitate in-person and hybrid design sessions and workshops.
• Ensure design facilitation materials are accessible and aligned with adult learning approaches.
• Support the roll-out of the revised flagship resource, ProPack.
