Allied Universal is seeking a Government Business Development Manager to drive multimillion-dollar revenue growth within state, local, and federal government agencies across a large geographic territory. This role involves marketing comprehensive security solutions through multi-year service contracts to government decision makers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire sales process, including prospecting, lead management, proposal development, contract and pricing negotiations, technical RFP responses, and delivering customized presentations. You will also build and maintain consultative relationships with government clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business partnerships. Staying up-to-date on industry and market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies is crucial for identifying innovative business opportunities.
- Drive the entire sales process, including prospecting, lead management, proposal development, contract and pricing negotiations, technical RFP responses, and customized presentations.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting government agencies within a designated territory.
- Build and maintain consultative relationships with government clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations) to understand client needs and position solutions.
- Continuously assess and report on sales cycle activity, pipeline development, and sales goal tracking.
