About the Role

EDF Power Solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Remote Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for driving growth by effectively managing current Asset Optimization (AO) services agreements and relationships with internal and external customers. You will be responsible for ensuring customer success and continuity of service, while also leading support efforts for internal projects related to AO service agreements. A key aspect of this role involves growing our external contract base and developing new opportunities to meet ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities include identifying, contacting, and establishing relationships with internal and external project developers, owners, financiers, support groups, and investors to enable service contract execution. You will develop business cases for specific deals, balancing strategic and economic objectives. Managing commercial responses to RFPs and other submissions, leading negotiations, and overseeing approval processes are also key duties. You will own long-term commercial customer relationships, understanding their organizations, incentives, and expectations to ensure success and contract retention. Surfacing customer issues and escalating them appropriately is vital. Furthermore, you will capture, digest, and share strategic market insights and business intelligence to enhance our ability to support both internal and external customer assets.
